Children's Health Camps of the Republic of Uzbekistan

“LOCHIN” Camp provides consistent and popular summer programs based on key themes such as arts and aesthetics, physical education and sports, environmental and biological sciences, local tourism and culture. Throughout the season, the camp offers children opportunities for personal growth, improved health, and social development. Its goal is to make summer enjoyable and meaningful through games, competitions, hikes, and nature tours.

Main objectives of the camp:

1. Engage children in various creative activities and develop useful skills, initiative, independence, and leadership.
2. Provide structured, healthy, and fun recreation.
3. Promote both mental and physical health.
4. Foster independent working skills.
5. Develop moral character and willpower.
6. Introduce non-traditional wellness practices.

Workshops and club activities are an integral part of the camp’s educational program. “LOCHIN” began operations in 2005 with a capacity for 560 children. Over time, additional dormitories were added—a 160-bed “Pyramid” building, an 180-bed “Ship” building, and an 80-bed unit—transforming it into a 1,000-bed facility. The dining hall was also renovated. Today, the camp can host up to 4,000 children during the summer season.

For 15 years, “LOCHIN” has consistently won the “Best Model Camp” award among camps nationwide.
